The DevCCF is a 3D, multimodal, undistorted developmental mouse brain atlas including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and light sheet fluorescence microscopy (LSFM) symmetric reference templates at 7 developmental timepoints that account for emerging morphology through brain development: (E) 11.5, E13.5, E15.5, E18.5, and postnatal day (P) 4, P14, and P56. Each atlas includes anatomical segmentations defined by a developmental ontology. Further, 3D serial two-photon tomography reference templates are established for postnatal ages, and have been aligned with the Allen Institute Common Coordinate Framework version 3 (CCFv3) reference template and annotations. The DevCCF is an openly accessible resource for large-scale data integration and analysis aimed at gaining a comprehensive understanding of brain development.
